Restaurant Review: Green Tangerine
While I was vacationing in Hanoi, Vietnam, I wasn’t actually sure what type of food I’d be able to find there. However, living in Asia, I knew rice noodles were easy and good! My friend and I had found in her guidebook a restaurant called the Green Tangerine. It was a fusion of French cuisine and Vietnamese food. We decided that would be lovely to have one nice meal while we were in Hanoi. It was an amazing fusion of flavors or at least two types of flavors that I really enjoy! The restaurant staff spoke English but the manager that was on duty that night was amazing. Our waitress wasn’t exactly sure what I meant by “wheat” (like most of the different restaurants in Asia don’t quite get that) but when the manager came over he completely understood and redirected my choices. I knew dessert would have been a difficult choice and they were very accommodating to let me have ice cream. I think the best part was the peace and quiet that we had while we dined. Hanoi is busy with motorbikes and while we enjoyed our dinner we didn’t hear any of it!
