Restaurant Review: The Kitchen- Boulder, CO
While we were in Boulder, CO, we went out for Jess’ birthday. One of the best things about Boulder is that when you’re Gluten Free you can eat almost anywhere! Jess decided to try out the restaurant call “The Kitchen.” We later found out that this restaurant had been published in Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, Cooking Light, and Gourmet.
We enjoyed some great food with great company. Almost everything on the menu was GF minus the pasta dishes. We tried the Wisdom Farm Chicken Breast with Ramp Mashers, Meyer Lemon Beurre Blanc; the Olive Oil Poached Alaskan Halibut with spring Veggies, Mushrooms with Herb Broth; and the Long Farm Pork Shoulder Roast, Polenta Verde with Green garlic anchovy dressing. Each dish that we got was spectacular! We loved every bite!
To top it off we enjoyed the Pot Au Chocolat with heavy cream and the Affogato which is a Vanilla gelato with a shot of espresso.
The food was exquisite and I know this will be a stop on our list when we go back to Boulder.
